6月25日，廣州海洋館開業活動在廣州動物園內正式舉行，宣告廣州海洋館升級煥新開業，廣州城市文旅再添新名片。場館內，綠海龜、沙虎鯊、白鯨、海獅、海豚等300余種約10000頭（尾）海洋生物，將陪伴大家暢游海洋世界。發光有趣的海洋生物燈箱、可以和巨骨舌魚比力氣的拉力比賽、模擬潛水艇場景的冒險潛水艇、介紹鯊魚家族的一體機……煥新升級的廣州海洋館以“科技+海洋IP+互動”的零距離體驗，打造集海洋生物觀賞、現代海洋科技體驗、科普教育、文創、休閑等多功能于一體，具有生命力的海洋文化創新體驗館。
